My name is Sharon Mulder-Lampley and I wanted to take a moment to welcome new and returning members. For those who don’t know me, I reside in Vicksburg with my husband and 16 year old son. I have an Appendix Quarter Horse mare that hopefully will be showing at Training Level this year and maybe some eventing. My background in riding is varied – I think the only thing I haven’t done is ride in speed events at the rodeo.</span></div><div class="MsoNoSpacing"><br /></div><div class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family: "Comic Sans MS";">We would like to breathe some new life in to our organization this year, and that will take help and input from ALL of our members. There will be a short survey going out soon to our membership, but in the meantime, if there is something you would like to see your organization do, please let one of the Board members know. If we don’t know what you want from your membership, then it makes it difficult for us to provide what you need.</span></div><div class="MsoNoSpacing"><br /></div><div class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-family: "Comic Sans MS";">I want to encourage everyone who is showing, both schooling shows and rated shows, to PLEASE get your score sheets to Evie Tumlin as soon as possible after each show. We worked hard last year to secure a lot of donations for Year End Awards and it’s a shame that very few people turned in scores to receive these items. We are trying to put together a newsletter, some schooling shows, and clinics. Check out the new website, we have a calendar page, membership page, and more. There will soon be a sales page, where you can list things you have for sale for no cost!<br /><br />We need volunteers!
